Geese...the new cancer remedy?

Bill Lytle, a 73 year old legislator from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago. Reporters say that his condition was so terrible that his skin actually turned yellow. Doctors informed Bill that he was suffering from pancreatic cancer and that he would most likely die within a matter of months. Bill, however, did not let the bad news get him down. To keep himself from getting into a worse condition, he began walking every day. (Actually, Bill had been walking previously to that and had, in fact, helped to start a walking club known as the "Lake City Striders".)On one of his many walks, Bill met "Mr. Waddles," a domestic goose who took a liking to the man. The two have since then developed a friendly relationship that has motivated Bill to continue walking. Apparently, Mr. Waddles allows Bill to pet him, a highly unusual characteristic of geese. This relationship, doctors vow, has kept Bill alive. Weird, I know. (Picture from pdphoto.org)
