Thanks to the inspiration of a friend, I am planning to read the following list of books this summer and give short blogs after I've read each book. I plan to simply give a short summary and let you know what I thought about it. The list (subject to change) is as follows:
The Pursuit of God -- A.W. Tozer
The Visitation -- Frank Peretti
How to Read a Book -- Mortimer J. Adler
That Hideous Strength -- C.S. Lewis
The Iliad -- Homer
The Screwtape Letters -- C.S. Lewis
Miracles -- C.S. Lewis
Divine Conspiracy -- Dallas Willard
Real Christianity -- William Wilberforce
The Abolition of Man -- C.S. Lewis
Well, that's it so far... but who knows how it will change over the course of the summer. For anyone wondering, yes, I love C.S. Lewis' works! I would definitely recommend his "Till We Have Faces" book to anyone who want to read his non-Narnia works... and sorry, Mr. L, but I don't think I'll want to read "Philosophy and Baseball". It's just not my style... :)

btw...there is a Narnia and Philosophy book in the same series as well.
I think I heard about that one... but I'll have to think about it; So many books!
like your list. We will be reading some of the same books this summer. It will be interesting to see what we both think of them. Also, all of the books on my reading list I own (and more). So if you don't have a bok that you want to read, then feel free to ask me if I own it and I will be more than happy to let you borrow it. (I also plan on buying some books with my grad. money this summer.)
Great... As a matter of fact I don't own some of them and I am interested in some of the books on your list that I didn't even put on mine simply because I don't have them... so that would be good. Thanks!
