Imagine waking up and finding a moose in your backyard. That would be pretty unbelievable. But finding a moose stuck in your swingset? That's what I call funny.
Apparently, a family in Milan, New Hampshire woke up Thursday morning (3/9/06) and found just that. It appears that the moose was attempting to snack on the hedge in someone's yard when a child's swingset got in the way.
The proprietor endeavored to help the vulnerable animal, but it was to no avail. He then called Don Valliere, a maintenance man from the Berlin Police, in hopes that he could rescue the creature. Thanks to the expertise and a pair of bolt cutters, Dan Valliere was able to set the moose free... and everyone lived happily ever after.
