We got to touch the Baltic Sea! Some guys even swam in it!
We took a trail up the "Witch Hill" and found tons of silly statues to take pictures with!
Our tour guide - Dalius. We will miss him!
Between getting lost from the rest of the group on the Witch Hill trail and ordering food from a menu I couldn't read, I can't decide which was my favorite memory from this part of the trip. So I'm doing two.
Funniest Memory: At one point along our journey up Witch Hill, 3 others and I got separated from the group. This was fine and good until we ran into a 4-way fork in the road. We each wanted to go a different way and laughed hysterically when we realized we had NO idea which way the group went or how to meet up with them. Negotiations between ourselves (in attempts to persuade each other to go the way each of us thought was the "right" way) were hilarious. Long story short, we made it back to the group and all was well in the end.
Good-Times Memory: On one of our free nights, Bekah and I decided to go to a classic Lithuanian restaurant just down the street from the University we are staying at. We didn't realize until we got there, though, that the waitresses wouldn't speak English and that the menus would be completely Lithuanian. But instead of running off to another restaurant, we braved through the menu, poured over it, made a few guesses, randomly picked items off the menu for our meal... and then waited for our surprise dinner. Turned out... I ordered bbq'd pork, mashed potatoes, and veggies. The meal was delicious; I probably would have picked it if I could read the menu anyways. Bekah ended up getting Calamari, but we were pretty sure that's what she was ordering in the first place - so it ended up a "good news" surprise in the end!
To be continued...
Next stop: Moscow, Russia (I hear we're going to the Mars Chocolate Corp, a ballet, and a circus!)

That's great!! So glad you could do this. Fun stories and great memories - but we still miss you!!
Let me echo Daddy's comment. But please try to avoid getting lost in another country!! Don't make this a habit.
Your Lithuanian meal experience reminded me of our meal at the lovely restaurant in Nanchang. At least they had plastic food to help us choose!
Love, Mom
